This cap-sleeved crochet cardigan is the perfect evening cardigan to chase away a summerŐs evening chill! Though worked in wool and merino/alpaca blend yarns, the stitch pattern is worked looser than usual, for a lacier look and lighter feel.
Crochet one in a solid coral color, to top a colorful summer print dress, or make one in the beach tones of water and sand to top a crisp white dress.
The samples are worked in 4 colors of Plymouth Yarn Suri Merino, a lovely suri alpaca and merino wool blend and one lovely coral shade of Cascade Yarns Cascade 220, many knittersŐ favorite worsted weight wool yarn. Or you can use your favorite soft, worsted weight yarn.
