This design is pure feminine luxury! Super soft yarns and glass beads knit into a delicate, slip stitched cable pattern create an elegant design with texture and shine.
The hat and scarf are knit in Garden Yarns heavy worsted weight 100% cashmere in natural and hand-dyed colors. The beads were chosen to coordinate with the tone of the yarn, which adds luminosity to the design. Garden Yarns 100% Soft Targhee Wool is another yarn option for this design.
The beading is easy to do, as the beads are hooked onto the stitches, as you knit. So, these accessories won't take long to knit and would make a lovely gift for that special person or a treat for yourself.

Hat Sizes: S-M / L-XL
Hat Circ: 18 / 20"
Scarf: 5" wide x 44" long, excluding glass bead fringe
Yarn: 2 hanks Garden Yarns 100% cashmere EACH for the hat and for the scarf.
Substitute Yarn Wt: Heavy worsted
When selecting your own yarn to knit this design, DO select a soft, smooth yarn. Fuzzy yarns will blur the subtle slip stitch patterning and a rustic yarn will not compliment the beautiful glass beads!
Other Materials:
Size 8 (5 mm) needles (16" ckn, dpns and either straights or a longer ckn for the scarf)
Size 6 (1.5 mm) crochet hook - to hook on beads
Size D-F (3.25-3.75 mm) crochet hook - for hat
Glass beads, size 3/0 (5.5 mm) or 5/0 (5 mm) beads, approx. 500 beads for scarf and 72 / 80 beads for hat, either oriental pearl, iridescent crystal, amethyst or sparkling gold-lined beads, depending on yarn color.
