LACE COLLARED CARDIGAN

This easy-to-knit cardigan was designed for a close fit, with snug sleeves, but, naturally, you can knit the size that gives you the fit you desire.

I used Oasis Yarn Aussi Wool for the sweater. It is a soft, round yarn, that's a pleasure to knit with.

There are 2 applied collar choices. One was knit in Classic Elite La Gran Mohair, the other in Berroco Glace, for 2 completely different looks. Or leave the cardigan unadorned to wear as a go-with-everything sweater, knit in your favorite color. The reversible leaf lace pattern (from Knitting Counterpanes) makes this collar possible.

Collar 2 - Berroco Glace, 100% rayon, approx 75 yds / 50 g hank: 1 hank #2657 Oyster
(Note: the Glace requires size 8 (5 mm) ndls.)

Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rows = 4" (10 cm) with size 10 (6 mm) ndls or size to give gauge.
