The easy stitch pattern is a classic Faroe design and reminds me of waves coming into shore, then flowing back out again, so I chose sea and shore colors. The cables, too, add a seaside (rope) element.

Size Medium: Cascade 220: 1 hank # #7816 Bluebell (A) and Cascade Yarns Cloud 9, 50% merino / 50% angora, approx. 109 yd / 50 gram ball: 1 ball each #119 Navy (B) and #101 Natural (C)
Size Large: Cascade 220: 1 hank each #8622 Camel (A), #7804 Shrimp (B), and #8010 Natural (C)
Gauge: 6.25 sts and 8 rows = 1" (2.5 cm) in Stockinette and 6.25 sts and 7 rows = 1" over stranded colorwork patt with size 4 (3.5 mm) ndls or size to give gauge. To save time, take time to check gauge.
