Worked circularly, from the perimeter to the center, and so, are very portable. I used a thick, roving type yarn, which, when lightly fulled, gives a soft, cozy haven for baby. Velcro along the front edges makes for quick bundling up of baby. The blanket is not fulled, but could be, if you choose. Naturally, the finished dimensions would be smaller.

Work it in the colors shown for a girl, or Denim and Natural for a boy.

Sizes:
Blanket: 30" square
Bunting: 30" long x 41" circ.

Yarn: Bartlettyarns' Fisherman Bulky, 80 yd/4 oz skeins: Bunting: 4 each Natural and Burgundy Hthr Blanket: 3 each Natural and Burgundy Hthr, 1 skein 2-ply worsted in Natural

Gauge: 9 sts and 14 rounds = 4" (10cm) in st st using size 11 ndls or size to give gauge. To save time take time to check gauge.

Substitute Yarn Wt: Super Bulky or 2 strands chunky-bulky wt
