Dawn Brocco Knitwear Designs: Knitting Patterns and Knitting Yarn

I have been designing hand knitting patterns professionally, since 1993.

Dozens of patterns have been designed for the following knitting publications: Knitter's, Family Circle Knitting, Cast-On, Knitting Digest, and Interweave Knits.

I have been self-publishing, since 1996.

I also love gardening (from growing organic heirloom veggies to heirloom roses), cooking, baking and decorating my home. I am an eclectic person, and this can be seen in my designs, which move from classic to whimsical.

The creative world is a joyous and beautiful place - so I encourage you to put your mark of creativity on everything you do, including the working up of my patterns.

ABOUT THE PATTERNS

All my designs are knit on circular needles, most in the round, some back and forth on circulars. I aim to have the least amount of finishing.

I try to make my patterns easy-to-follow, and any technique specific to that design is explained within the pattern, along with a complete abbreviations list for that pattern.

All color charts, and most cable and lace charts, are in COLOR.

Patterns are printed on 32 lb paper, with color charts, where necessary, and a photo or photos of the design on a cover page, all in a clear plastic sleeve, for protection.

I use a Xerox solid ink printer, for quality printed paterns and booklets.
