Long time no write.
Well, it feels like a long time!
Haven't had anything to write about. Except - finding my toes, again! Yes, instead of fat sausages, they are toes. And soles don't hurt as much walking. 5 lbs 'o water gone. 5-7 more to go. Good Demadex (Torsemide).
But hubby's got something. He's been home from work since Wedn. He's seen docs and has taken various antibiotics. Needs tests. Could be diverticulitis or prostatitis, also a uti.. Am waiting on doc to get back to him today. Feel like Gunga Din, shoving water down his throat every chance I get, especially with this particular antibiotic.
Good thing I feel well and can look after him. Had a CBC today, which came back excellent, no white cell blood count issues. Must be the good care I'm taking of myself coupled with my naturally sunny disposition, and a dose of good fortune! Like the new business cards and return labels I bought from Vistaprint.
It doesn't match my current logo, but it's a happy, sunny design, which makes me smile every time I see it.
Will get to that last Fana KAL segment soon - in the next coupla days.
And am eagerly awaiting some Cascade 220 and Cloud 9 from Cascade to swatch a new design - a Fair Isle cardigan with coordinating shell. I'd love to have a twinset. And, as I'm working on these flooberoo upper arms, I should actually be able to wear it without scaring anyone!
Which reminds me, weekends tend to get me off schedule, gotta get on that bike today. The water's leaving my calves as well, which, thanks to the biking, actually has some muscle tone. Bit by bit, getting my body back, and maybe I can make it even better than before.
It still feels odd to have to fuss over the bod so much. I was always so cerebral. The bod was just a vehicle. Shove a little food and water (and a bunch of vitamins) into it and watch it go. And it went, like the Duracell Bunny. Til the battery corroded! Maybe that's my lesson - not to take it for granted. That it needs more care, more time than I gave it, in order to live in this world.

Hiya Anne,
hahaha! I spoke too soon. The water's climbing again - could be the Ibuprofen interfering, so I stopped taking it.
Called doc who's not in til tomorrow. She already said that if the Demadex doesn't work well on its own, she can give me something else to boost it, but gotta wait til tomorrow.
The hydrochlorothiazide did this - lost 5 lbs water, then it came back and it worked no longer.
Rad's going fine. Just 2 more to go. Throat's a little hard of swallowing, but not terrible. Pills not going down, got one stuck today! And almost had to cancel my app't. Hubby needs a cat scan. Never a dull moment!
