Can One Mourn a Printer?!
I'm temporarily numb.
Numb from stress.
Stress from a few orders sitting here not printed.
Not printed because this ole Phaser, she ain't what she used to be, ain't what she used to be...
After many weeks of printer torture, my credit card today had to succumb to a new printer. Tomorrow's Big Brown Truck is bringing a Xerox Phaser 8560DN with a free bundle of ink cubes, from SuppliesGuys.com
My Phaser 860DP served me for many years, but it was just gonna cost too much to do this latest repair. (A transfix roller and pivoting exit guide, which I broke, trying to clean the transfix roller!)
So, I've got the 860's ink and 2 maintenance kits listed on Ebay, and will list the printer soon as well. Goodbye old faithful! I'm sure I'll love the new printer just as much, solid ink is great!
Can't wait to print these pattern and Gazette orders and get them mailed to my long-suffering customers. Thank you for your patience!!
