tights, KIP, KAL, chemo

I thought we were having global WARMING?!

It is 14 degrees and gustily windy this morning and it's still November - not winter yet for another month. Brrr. These tights are gonna get well used.

tights
The only difference, so far, is that I only worked the ankle even for 4", not the 5" mentioned. I vaguely remember having begun these tights many years ago, in, I can't remember what yarn, but I stopped before I got to the calf and ripped it out. Don't know why. I think I had a better use for the yarn, at the time.

There's another tights pattern I want to try, as well, from Garnstudio's site, though wearing horizontal stripes is asking for it. A heather or a tweed yarn is all the interest I want to bring to my lower half.

KIP
Lion Brand's Time Square Ad! Do you think it's stopping traffic?

KAL
I was thinking *maybe* I should start a KAL in January. I like the way Schoolhouse Press does theirs - with posts on their site and a yahoo group to handle KAL discussion.

If so, which design(s) would you like to see done?

chemo
Ya know what the upside to chemo is? Not having to shave. That's way cool, and I don't miss it! And I'm saving $ on shampoo, conditioner and hair dye.

The downside? Not needing to do much to be a good scarecrow. Hubby swears he's gonna get around to shaving my head this weekend. We'll see if he has time and the energy, Mr. Work All The Time.
