wallpaper removal fun
I've been working on scraping the 5 layers of wallpaper off one bedroom's plaster walls (a multi-week project). But I'm no spring chicken any longer, so I'm pacing myself - an hour or so of scoring, squirting and scraping per day. It's a tedious job, for sure.
I swatched a cute little 4-row lace pattern last night and will cogitate further about the shape of the shawl/wrap I want. I'm working with Kraemer Yarns DK wt. Alpaca, which is grown and processed here in the US - a nice reduction in the pollution caused by overseas shipments of fiber and yarn.
I'm still pooped from scraping paper, and need refreshment, so 'til something else exciting happens...!
