Serendipity - Jim was looking online for another designer and found my site by accident. He called me and we conversed for a long time, as he was browsing my site. I am just getting his order (2 binders' worth) ready for mailing tomorrow.
I also need to get 8 more pdf patterns and jpegs to Sandra Singh today, as she's getting such nice feedback about my designs!
But, otherwise, I am taking it easy today. Hubby was kind enough to share his cold with me! I thought I was doing well for awhile, but I'm a full-blown mess now - not sleeping, congested, blowing my nose off, and coughing, or rather hacking, up a storm.
So, after I put my aran pullover and some socks to soak and vacuum these carpets, I'm sitting on the couch and will continue knitting on these CIC socks for a bit.
I couldn't stop with just the pink baby pair I knit the other day (see photo below somewhere). I then did a pink and yellow striped pair. Then I did a pair in doubled Eco+ in a new leaf green for a toddler/small child, and am now doing a bright blue pair with green toes - same size. I prefer to make the thicker socks for all kids of walking age, as those floors must be really cold, whereas the one strand of worsted to heavy worsted for a baby makes it easier to get them on their tiny feet, and they're not walking on cold floors.
