Newest EZ / MS treat!

Schoolhouse Press' "A Knitting Glossary" with Elizabeth Zimmerman and Meg Swansen

This dvd is 4 hours' worth of knitting technique wonderment.

And yes, I sat through 90% of it in one sitting! I only missed bits here and there, as I was making cinnamon focaccia and had to keep going back into the kitchen. I tend to forget about using the pause button!

There's TONS of stuff in here, all searchable through the menu, some of which I had never heard of before, and some I had known about, but had not sought to learn, but now see their usefulness.

And, of course, there's the enjoyment factor in watching and listening to the mother / daughter masters! I loved the ending- after Meg interviews her mom and goes to leave the schoolhouse, EZ hops about on the stoop, in her huge faux bear claw slippers, with Gaffer looking on. I want to have that joie de vivre when I'm nearly 80!

Any knitter (beginner to advanced) that wishes to increase their skills, can use this dvd. I won't be scrambling any more through my books, magazines or websites looking for that technique description or article I remember seeing - I'm just gonna pop this dvd into the machine, and jump right to what I am seeking.

Onward!

P.S. I'm feeling better today - I spent all day yesterday attacking my symptoms with diligence.

Oh for heaven's sake Dawn, now I gotta go buy something ELSE! 'Fwill 'oo shtop distracting me with golden ideas? Starting right away on that gorgeous cutaway cables scarf of yours. I'll blame you if my Christmas gifts don't get out on time, right?

Blame away, Jo!

I just told hubby last night that I've spent the first 47 years being such a goody-goody (hard to beat that upbringing!), that the next 47 will be spent making a little trouble (and having fun while I'm at it!). So, just blame it on bad Dawn and her good designs!
