When 3M doesn't mean post it notes.

Yesterday was 3M day - Moon, Mercury (retrograde) and Monday - apparently a less than positive mix, tho Sunday stunk, as well.

This Monday was a ripe day for ennui, for which chocolate chip cookies could not fix, so I knew not even to try. One just waits for the day to end, so that a new day can Dawn and bring something sunshiney and positive, some FORWARD motion.

But by days end, after some designer conversations, I felt better and at least came to decide to change several biz-related things. So between last night and today, I tweaked my metatags, asked my web designer to set up the file that will stop the wayback machine from archiving my pages and delete the ones that are archived, as well as set up permanent redirects from my old site, took down the 4 free patterns I've had up for more years than I can count, and deleted tons of old jpegs off my server, from the old site.

Not big things, but all good things. And of course, I voted today, also a good thing. And Today (as opposed to Sunday and yesterday!) continued to bring Forward Motion with one of the shop orders, that I was waiting on, coming in, and it was quite a nice size. Once I get their order ready and upload their contact info to my Retailers page, I'll post it here, as well.

On my Business To Do list is the creation of an online reference list (which I may also have available in print) - specific book and/or video references for techniques, especially those that are used in my designs. I love books and think all knitters should invest in good technique books, and then never again be left stranded in the middle of a pattern and NOT know how to do something.

It may take a while to make this list as comprehensive as I can, as I'm sure many techniques are covered in many of the books I have. But I hope it can act like a FAQ for knitting techniques.

I also want to work on providing more comprehensive wholesale info on my site, to give shops an even quicker way (than emailing me) to get pertinent info.

I was going to get sample knitting done, but printing has taken its place! Onward.
