This and That
Crochet Kim (Kim Guzman) kindly referenced my new Cap-Sleeve Summer Cardigan in her blog post today - thank you Kim!!
I can't wait to finish these knit baby sweaters and the pattern, as the next design in the queue is gonna be downright adorable - too cha cha for words! So I can't wait to start, and just ordered Eco+ for the project, and while I was at it some Tahki Donegal Tweed - granted it's in a discontinued color, but a great color for me - as I've been wanting to do an Irish tweed pullover for eons.
Has anyone tried the new Berroco Ultra Alpaca?? Is it soft? And is it very hairy? And I read that it felts very well, but does it make a hairy felted fabric, like yarns with mohair in them tend to do? It comes in a great range of color and the price is wonderful, I may just need to try some and see.
And, through the KnitList grapevine, my, MY LYS, Amazing Threads, has new owners and not a peep from the previous owners to their customers? Not a postcard, not a letter, nothing. Gotta stop in there this weekend and see what's up.
Need to go pack up a book shipment to Unicorn, my distributor.
So, onward.
